Round 1 Suhrab Khalaji attempts a takedown but slips, and Skip Starnes backs away. Skip Starnes is standing over Suhrab Khalaji. Round 2 Suhrab Khalaji throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Starnes is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Suhrab Khalaji connects with jab cross combination. Khalaji connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Khalaji ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Starnes and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Suhrab connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Skip is hit with a jab taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Khalaji is able to push to half guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Starnes fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Suhrab. Suhrab Khalaji places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Khalaji escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Suhrab takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Skip Starnes to hit him harder. Skip throws a push kick. Suhrab shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Skip Starness nose.
