Round 1 Guzman hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Nicolas circles "el Fantasma", landing jabs at will. "el Fantasma" attempts a lazy shot, which Guzman sprawls, eventually taking "el Fantasma" back. Nicolas Guzman tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Juanito starts to wiggle out of back control, "im a bitch ass punk" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Nicolas Guzman hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "el Fantasma". A single-leg attempt is well defended by Cervantes. Nicolas Guzman stands up, lifting the leg of Cervantes and executing a trip takedown. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "el Fantasma" throws a few jabs at Guzman that miss the mark. Cervantes connects with a hard punch making "im a bitch ass punk" bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Juanito places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cervantes escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Nicolas is staggered by a jab to the chin. "el Fantasma" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Guzman is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Nicolas circles "el Fantasma", landing jabs and crosses at will. "el Fantasma" connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Nicolas hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Juanito connects with a strong right hook. Both fighters begin to exchange Juanito catches Nicolas with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Nicolas gather himself. Nicolas says he is ok and the fight continues. A welt begins to form under "el Fantasmas" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Guzman. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "el Fantasma" rushes forward with strikes and Nicolas slips to his all fours. "el Fantasma" unleashes a barrage of punches. Nicolas is stuck against the cage and cannot roll to his guard. "el Fantasma" finishes his flurry with two strong uppercuts. The ref jumps in and Nicolas crumples face down in a bloody mess.
