Round 1 Olson lands a devastating overhand right on "Beast of Nurgle". Ed Olson dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Talgat. Ed pummels Talgat with a series of rapid fire fists. Talgat tries to hyperextend the knee of Ed with a kick to the kneecap. Ed hops back to avoid it. Talgat lands a double jab. "Beast of Nurgle" hits an uppercut to the head of Olson followed by a hard hook. A lazy leg kick from Olson is caught by Nurgaliyev who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Olson. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Talgat Nurgaliyev takes Olsons back standing. Ed Olson isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Talgat Nurgaliyev lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Ed Olson to release. Olson peppers Talgat Nurgaliyev with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. "Beast of Nurgle" is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Olson. Ed Olson loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Talgat Nurgaliyev for the mistake. Talgat Nurgaliyev has side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "Beast of Nurgle" throws a few jabs at Olson that miss the mark. Talgat Nurgaliyev throws a crisp jab, but Olson slips it and moves in for the clinch. Talgat works to Olsons back while standing. Talgat throws a couple of outside shots until Ed is able to work his way back to the clinch. Talgat works Ed Olson into the cage from the clinch. Talgat presses his head under Olsons chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Ed takes Talgats back standing. Nurgaliyev isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Ed lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Nurgaliyev to release. Talgat Nurgaliyev attempts to clinch, but Ed connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Ed parries Nurgaliyevs jab and lands a liver shot. Olson just misses with a head kick, grazing Talgats skull. "Beast of Nurgle" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Ed. Round 3 is over.
