Round 1 A wild hook from Lisboa is ducked by Fran Ibarra who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Lisboa connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Fran connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Ibarra connects with jab cross combination. "Death Note" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. As Fran Ibarra presses forward "Avenue" throws a wild spinning backfist. Fran Ibarra ducks under it and executes a double-leg to gain half guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Death Note" works Lisboa into the cage from the clinch. "Death Note" presses his head under "Avenues" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Warwick Lisboa fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Fran Ibarra up for a flurry of hooks. Ibarra throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Avenue" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Lisboa connects with numerous jabs to the face of Ibarra. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lisboa works to Frans back while standing. Lisboa throws a couple of outside shots until Ibarra is able to work his way back to the clinch. "Avenue" takes the back of Fran who works for a kimura. "Avenue" pulls his arm out of the hold and push Fran away. Ibarra connects with a strong body shot combo. "Avenue" connects with jab cross combination. "Avenue" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses.Round 3 comes to a close.
