Round 1 Vargas throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Abad is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Vargas connects with jab cross combination. Jaime Vargas ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Abad and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Jaime Vargas takes down Taj Abad, but remains standing over him. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Vargas eats a stiff kick to the face. Jaime winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Abad throws a kick to the midsection of Jaime. Taj Abad keeps Vargas at a distance with some well timed jabs. Jaime is struck by a ball kick from Taj that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Taj connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Vargas. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Taj just misses with a head kick, grazing Jaimes skull. Taj Abad throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Jaime Vargas puts Taj Abad on the mat giving his back up. Abad carefully protects himself from Jaime Vargass strikes. Taj is able to make it back to the standing position. Jaime Vargas connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Taj Abad connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
