Round 1 Favre hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Eric Sauer hits an uppercut to the head of Favre followed by a hard hook. A welt begins to form under Favres eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Sauer. Sauer catches a kick from Samuel Favre and drops down for a leg lock. Samuel circles Sauer, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Samuel reaches down and trips Eric Sauer with a beautiful ankle pick. Samuel dives into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
