Round 1 Talamantes weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Julio Talamantes connects with a hard punch making Mac Dhuibhinse bring him in to a tight clinch. Talamantes drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "NATIONAL PRIDE" sets a guillotine choke but Talamantes slips out at the last moment. Talamantes is now caught in guard. Tommy attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "SFL NP" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Tommy Mac Dhuibhinse standing over him. Tommy drops a huge strike to Talamantess chin, landing into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mac Dhuibhinse receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. While tied up, Tommy Mac Dhuibhinse is met with a hard uppercut. Mac Dhuibhinse lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Julio Talamantes. Julio Talamantes counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Talamantes dodges a series of strikes from "NATIONAL PRIDE" and counters with a body shot and cross. Talamantes then backs up and wags a finger at "NATIONAL PRIDE". Julio catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Tommy. "SFL NP" lays into Mac Dhuibhinse with some stomps. Mac Dhuibhinse can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
