Round 1
Boris lands a outside leg kick that causes Mick Lowe to back up. Mick attempts a striking combination, but "CoorFort" forces the clinch. Lowe tries to land piston shots to Boris Afanasyev while in the clinch. Boris Afanasyev is able to hop up wrap his legs around Mick Lowes waist, affectively pulling guard. "CoorFort" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Mick parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Boris Afanasyev parries "8s" jab and connect with a cross. "CoorFort" dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Mick Lowe. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Boris Afanasyev parries "8s" jab and lands an uppercut. "8" is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Boris is able to push to half guard. Lowe defends short shots well by turning his head. Boris attempts to get a leg free and successfully moves into dominant side control. Mick Lowe gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Afanasyev spins around to take it, Mick Lowe makes his way back to his feet. "CoorFort" parries "8s" jab and lands a hook that floors Mick Lowe. Boris chucks Micks legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Both fighters begin to exchange "8" catches Afanasyev with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Afanasyev gather himself. Afanasyev says he is ok and the fight continues. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. A welt begins to form under Boris Afanasyevs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "8". "8" reaches down and trips Boris Afanasyev with a beautiful ankle pick. "8" dives into back control. Boris carefully protects himself from Micks strikes. With both hooks in and Boris Afanasyev face down "8" peppers him with short shots to the head. Boris Afanasyev turns to defend while kicking a leg out to get to half guard. Round 3 is over.
