Stewart fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing John to the cage. John swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Erik pushes down Abregos leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Stewart wraps the arm of John Abrego behind his back and traps it. Stewart pounds away with shots to the face. Stewart presses his foot onto the thigh of John Abrego to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Erik attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from John for his troubles. Abrego tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. John tries to scramble out of half guard, but Erik Stewart takes his back during it. Stewart peppers John Abrego with several shots to the face. John tries to explode out the backdoor but Stewart sinks in both hooks. John stands up but Stewart sinks a choke. John slowly succumbs to the hold and taps.
