Round 1 Rasmus connects with a hard punch making Masters bring him in to a tight clinch. Rasmus Sorenson receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Rasmus takes "TRIATHALONs" back standing. Masters isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Rasmus lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Masters to release. "Event" connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Masters hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Rasmus connects with a hard jab as Masters attempts a wide outside hook. Rasmus throws a hard jab but Shelton Masters throws a cross right over the top rocking Rasmus. "TRIATHALON" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Rasmus is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch "TRIATHALON" wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Sorenson. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Masters works "Event" into the cage from the clinch. Masters presses his head under Rasmuss chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "TRIATHALON" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. "TRIATHALON" takes in a well composed combination of quick strikes from Sorenson. Sorenson stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. "TRIATHALON" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Events" guard. It doesn't pay off as Rasmus makes his way to standing. A trip to the ground allows Shelton to move into the guard of "Event". A strong chopping strike hits Shelton across the face. Shelton lands a series of return strikes. Shelton Masters dodges a few strikes from Sorenson and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Two quick punches opens up Rasmus for a takedown. Shelton Masters pushes in and executes a forward foot sweep that puts Rasmus on his back. Shelton Masters falls into side control. "TRIATHALON" wraps the arm of Rasmus Sorenson behind his back and traps it. "TRIATHALON" pounds away with shots to the face. "TRIATHALON" delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing "Event" to turn over. "TRIATHALON" takes the back. Rasmus Sorenson starts to wiggle out of back control, Masters lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Shelton Masters arm drags "Event" into a double leg takedown, getting half guard. Shelton is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Rasmus gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Event" starts to wiggle out of back control, "TRIATHALON" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Shelton Masters keeps Rasmus at a distance with some well timed jabs. Sorenson shoots but "TRIATHALON" stuffs it, eventually using a whizzer to work to side control. Rasmus Sorenson sneaks a leg back under the body of Shelton to achieve a defensive half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
