Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Cheng connects with a series of punches forcing Hakim Lemma into a clinch. A strong elbow forces Daniel Cheng to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Hakim hovers over "San" pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. "San" sends a hard up kick that rocks Hakim. "San" stands back up. Daniel Cheng connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Daniel fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Young Brock II". Hakim Lemma works Cheng into the cage from the clinch. Hakim Lemma presses his head under Daniel Chengs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Cheng works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "Young Brock II" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Daniel Cheng standing over him. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "San" snaps back the head of "Young Brock II" with a stiff jab. "San" connects with a series of punches forcing Hakim into a clinch. Lemma attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Cheng who lands in his guard. "Young Brock II" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. A trip to the ground allows "Young Brock II" to move into the guard of Daniel. "San" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Daniel Cheng dodges some ground strikes from Hakim, and sends a few back of his own. Cheng is pummeled by some well timed bombs from "Young Brock II".Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Both fighters begin to exchange Daniel catches Lemma with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Lemma gather himself. Lemma says he is ok and the fight continues. A welt begins to form under Hakim Lemmas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Daniel Cheng. "Young Brock II" fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. "San" quickly takes his back. Daniel begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Lemma rolls to being mounted instead. Daniel secures his position. Hakim Lemma bucks off Daniel and sweeps him over taking side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
