Round 1
The fighters advance aggressively to center canvas, deciding not to touch gloves. Eschmann throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Barry Handspiker is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Barry Handspiker connects with a hard punch making Eschmann bring him in to a tight clinch. "Migrantwrkr Assassin" is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Barry attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Thorbjorn now is in dominant side mount. Thorbjorn delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Barry to turn over. Thorbjorn takes the back. Barry Handspiker rolls to his back and turtles up. Eschmann releases hooks and steps off to the side and immediately hooks an arm with his leg. Eschmann grabs his opponents opposite arms and somersaults forward into crucifix position and applies a choke. Barry Handspiker struggles and breaks free ending up on top in side control. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Eschmann connects with a jab cross combination. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Barry circles Thorbjorn, mixing jabs with body shots. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Eschmann, but Barry Handspiker is able to muscle through for a takedown. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Eschmanns guard and "Migrantwrkr Assassin" is able to move to half guard. Handspiker is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Handspiker punishes Eschmann with a series of strikes from the mount. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Barry lands a strong right cross, knocking back Thorbjorn. Thorbjorn shakes his head, no selling the strike. Barry connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Migrantwrkr Assassin" shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Thorbjorn. "Migrantwrkr Assassin" sneaks a foot behind Thorbjorn Eschmanns leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Round 3 is over.
