Round 1
The fighters advance aggressively to center canvas, deciding not to touch gloves. "The Saad Saad Man" strikes the knee of Zeyar Pyay with thudding oblique kick. Saad winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Nejem leaps with a flying knee, just missing the target. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Zeyar connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Pyay attempts a striking combination, but Saad Nejem forces the clinch. Nejem works to Zeyars back while standing. Nejem throws a couple of outside shots until Pyay is able to work his way back to the clinch. Nejem grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Zeyar Pyay under the eye. Zeyar Pyay escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Saad connects with a series of punches forcing Zeyar into a clinch. Pyay receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Saad Nejem. "The Saad Saad Man" connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Pyay is dazed on the mat. Saad stands over Zeyar Pyay, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Zeyar Pyay cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Saad kicks at the legs of Zeyar and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Zeyar to stand. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Saad Nejem attempts to clinch, but Zeyar Pyay connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Saad Nejem fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Pyay. Saad Nejem grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Pyay on the floor. Saad Nejem kicks at the legs of Pyay and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Pyay to stand. Zeyar Pyay attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by an upward elbow strike that rocks him. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Saad Nejem throws a solid knee to the jaw of Zeyar. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
