Round 1
The fighters advance and touch gloves. Hakim Lemma is hit with two hard punches to his face. Hakim Lemma laughs off the punches. Kacancu steps forward and executes a small inner recap, falling into Lemmas guard. Kacancu stands up with Lemma still holding guard. As Lemma releases his guard Kacancu spins to a kneebar but it is too shallow. Kacancu takes couple of shots to the head. The fighters scramble to standing position. Hakim Lemma throws a hard jab but Kacancu throws a cross right over the top rocking Hakim Lemma. A trip to the ground allows "Young Brock II" to move into the guard of Astles. Astles locks a triangle but "Young Brock II" defends well. Astles continues the attempt but finally decides to let go. Lemmas face is red from the choke and sits low in the guard to catch his breath. Kacancu Astles sinks a kimura fromt he bottom but cannot finish. He rolls Hakim Lemma over to gain mount but Hakim Lemma is able to achieve half guard with a great scramble. Kacancu Astles releases the kimura. Hakim Lemma holds the head of Astles close to avoid shots. Astles slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
"The Shattered Sun" is staggered by a jab to the chin. A trip to the ground allows "The Shattered Sun" to move into the guard of "Young Brock II". Hakim Lemma is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Hakim Lemma attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. "The Shattered Sun" narrowly avoids it, but allows for Hakim Lemma to take mount. Hakim punishes Astles with a series of strikes from the mount. Astles bucks off "Young Brock II" and sweeps him over taking side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
"Young Brock II" hoists up Astles in the air for a slam but Astles makes himself too heavy and gets his feet back to the ground. Hakim Lemma circles "The Shattered Sun", landing jabs and crosses at will. Hakim circles Kacancu Astles, landing jabs and crosses at will. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Kacancu winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Hakim connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Kacancu Astles. The bell signals the end of round 3.
