Round 1 The fighters advance aggressively to center canvas, deciding not to touch gloves. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "San" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cheng dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Young Brock II" standing over him. "Young Brock II" drops a huge strike to Daniels chin, landing into his guard. "Young Brock II" tries to pass guard but "San" stops him with a well timed punch. Daniel Cheng shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. "San" dodges some ground strikes from "Young Brock II", and sends a few back of his own. Hakim Lemma tries to move to half guard but Cheng uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hakim gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. "Young Brock II" takes Daniels back standing. Daniel Cheng isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "Young Brock II" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Daniel Cheng to release. Hakim throws a cross that easily dodged by "San". Cheng throws a crisp jab, but "Young Brock II" slips it and moves in for the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Daniel works Hakim Lemma into the cage from the clinch. Daniel presses his head under "Young Brock IIs" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Hakim Lemma goes for a shot, but "San" uses a switch to take his opponents back. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Hakim throws a push kick. Daniel Cheng shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Lemmas nose.
A trip to the ground allows "Young Brock II" to move into the guard of Cheng. Daniel sinks a deep kimura, but Hakim slides out. This gives Daniel the chance to switch to half guard. "Young Brock II" laces the legs of "San" giving "San" the opportunity to somersault over and quickly wrapping up an omoplata. "Young Brock II" somersaults over allowing "San" to take side control. A knee to belly allows Lemma to twist from his back, pulling Daniel off balance. Lemma then switches him to guard and stands up. Lemma allows Daniel to stand.Round 3 comes to a close.
