Round 1
The fighters advance and touch gloves. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Lorenzo Traversi throws a teep backing Huerta off. Fortunato takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Lorenzo Traversi sends "el abarcar" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lorenzo attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Huerta now is in dominant side mount. Traversi takes a few knees to the body while under "el abarcars" side control. Lorenzo is wisely defending a kimura. Fortunato attempts to take it but Lorenzo is having none of it, though Fortunato has used the chance the slide into mount. Traversi attempts to buck Fortunato off from mount but Fortunato keeps his base and maintains position. Traversi kicks off a leg and finds space off to the side and wraps around the body of Fortunato Huerta getting his back. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Lorenzo connects with a hard punch making Fortunato bring him in to a tight clinch. While in the clinch Fortunato grabs the elbow of Lorenzo Traversi while turning away from him. Fortunato pulls his opponents body towards his planted leg causing Lorenzo Traversi to flip over with a nice Tai Otoshi throw. Fortunato takes side control. Fortunato lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Lorenzo sneaks a leg back under the body of Fortunato to achieve a defensive half guard. Huerta is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Lorenzo gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "el abarcar" peppers Lorenzo Traversi from his back. Lorenzo Traversi rolls over but "el abarcar" has both hooks. He works for an RNC but Lorenzo Traversi defends well. Fortunato Huerta attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Lorenzo rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
