Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. The fighters circle each other. Bloch connects with a strong body shot combo. Otto connects with numerous jabs to the face of Cheng. A lazy leg kick from Otto is caught by Daniel who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Otto. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under Daniels eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Otto Bloch. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Daniel, but "Wrenching Economics" is able to muscle through for a takedown. Daniel begins to posture on his side. Otto Bloch lands a couple of outside hooks and Daniel returns to the guard. Otto pushes down Daniel Chengs leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. "Wrenching Economics" attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Cheng gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Otto Bloch presses his foot onto the thigh of Daniel Cheng to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Otto delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Cheng to turn over. Otto takes the back. Cheng starts to wiggle out of back control, Otto Bloch lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "San" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Otto Bloch takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Otto Bloch circles Daniel Cheng, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "San" throws a cross that easily dodged by Bloch. Otto snaps back the head of Cheng with a stiff jab. "San" snaps back the head of Otto with a stiff jab. Otto Bloch is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Daniel is able to push to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
