Round 1 "The Black Mamba" is staggered by a jab to the chin. "The Black Mamba" lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Pat Cherry breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. After dodging a jab, Cherry lands a kick to the liver of Morris who steps back only to take a knee. Cherry rushes forward to capitalize but Morris falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Cherry drops a huge strike to Brocks chin, landing into his guard. Brock starts to create some distance with his legs, Pat capitalizes by passing to side control. Pat throws his knee into the ribs of Brock. Pat Cherry postures up and with a knee to belly of "The Black Mamba" and begins to rain down punches. "The Black Mamba" dodges a few but eventually cannot defend himself and the ref steps in.
