Round 1 Martin attempts a takedown, but Christian Torres clumsily falls down without much provocation. Denny drops a huge strike to Torress chin, landing into his guard. Denny drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Denny passes through Torress guard into mount. Denny secures his position. Christian Torres gets pummeled by the fists of Denny. Christian Torres gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Martin attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Christian Torres rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Christian shifts his head and hips to keep Denny off balance and unable to land strikes.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Christian is staggered by a jab to the chin. Christian Torres fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Martin. Martin drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Christian Torres attempts an omoplata and almost has it sunk but Martin is able to survive any major damage. Christian Torres cannot finish the hold and decides to stand up. Denny narrowly dodges a cross from Christian Torres, but falls catching him in his guard. Denny Martin connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Christian Torres drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Martin attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Christian takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. The fighters circle each other. Torres throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Martin puts Torres on the mat giving his back up. Denny locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at Torres. Torres starts to wiggle out of back control, Denny lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Denny snaps back the head of Torres with a stiff jab. Denny fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Christian Torres. Round 3 is over.
