Round 1
Noboru Kobayashi narrowly dodges a cross from Sanders, but falls catching him in his guard. Bruce knocks the wind out of Kobayashi with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Sanders but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Sanders circles Noboru Kobayashi, mixing jabs with body shots. "UK Sensation" connects with a strong right hook. Noboru Kobayashi attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Bruce Sanders takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Noboru takes a few knees to the body while under Sanderss side control. Sanders slides his knee across the body of Noboru and takes full mount. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Noboru Kobayashi connects with a series of punches forcing Bruce into a clinch. Bruce throws a short elbow at Noboru. Bruce drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Wild Weasel" sets a guillotine choke but Bruce slips out at the last moment. Bruce is now caught in guard. Noboru Kobayashi connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Noboru connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Noboru shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Bruce Sanders tries to pass guard but Noboru Kobayashi stops him with a well timed punch. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Kobayashi loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Sanders for the mistake. Sanders has side control. Kobayashi is wisely defending a kimura. Bruce Sanders attempts to take it but Kobayashi is having none of it, though Bruce Sanders has used the chance the slide into mount. Bruce Sanders splits Kobayashis nose open with a well timed punch. "Wild Weasel" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Noboru carefully protects himself from Bruce Sanderss strikes. "Wild Weasel" starts to wiggle out of back control, "UK Sensation" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 3 is over.
