Round 1 "Piranha" circles Duarte, landing jabs at will. Duarte attempts to clinch, but Aranha connects with an uppercut to the jaw. After dodging a jab-cross, "Piranha" lands a kick to the liver of "The Death Merchant" who steps back and begins to take a knee. "Piranha" rushes forward to capitalize but "The Death Merchant" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Aranha keeps "The Death Merchant" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Aranha is rocked by a standing elbow strike. "The Death Merchant" presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Aranha survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. "Piranha" circles "The Death Merchant", mixing jabs with body shots. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Piranha" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Erasmo. "Piranha" sends "The Death Merchant" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Joao pulls out of the guard of Erasmo, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Erasmo. Joao Aranha defends a triangle attempt, throwing "The Death Merchants" straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Erasmo Duarte is able to hold him to half guard. Aranha slams his knee into Erasmos ribs. Joao Aranha slips out of half guard and into side control. "The Death Merchant" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Duarte starts to wiggle out of back control, Aranha lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Duarte parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Erasmo is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Joao presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Erasmo survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Erasmo Duarte lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Joao Aranha. Duarte begins a combination but Joao Aranha ducks down, picking Erasmos leg. Joao Aranha lifts Erasmos leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Joao Aranha lays into Duartes thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "The Death Merchant" does so. "The Death Merchant" parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. "Piranha" dances around Erasmo Duartes legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Joao lays into Erasmos thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Erasmo does so. Duarte attempts to clinch, but Joao connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Erasmo Duarte connects with a strong right hook.Round 3 comes to a close.
