Round 1 Evans dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Axl. Jodoin eats a stiff kick to the face. "Spidey" attempts a striking combination, but Shane forces the clinch. Evans grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Axl. After dodging a jab, Shane Evans lands a kick to the liver of "Spidey" who steps back only to take a knee. Shane Evans rushes forward to capitalize but "Spidey" falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Evans drops a huge strike to Jodoins chin, landing into his guard. "Spidey" starts to create some distance with his legs, "Sugar" capitalizes by passing to side control. Axl Jodoin takes a few knees to the body while under Shanes side control. Shane lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "Spidey" attempts a striking combination, but Shane Evans forces the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Shane Evans is defended well by Jodoin. Shane Evans grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Shane Evans returns to the clinch. Jodoin grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Shane. Axl Jodoin is rocked by a standing elbow strike. "Sugar" presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Axl Jodoin survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Axl throws a cross that easily dodged by Evans. Evans circles Axl Jodoin, landing jabs at will. Jodoin is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Shane Evans drops a huge strike to Axl Jodoins chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Shane circles Axl Jodoin, mixing jabs with body shots. Jodoin lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Shane. "Spidey" keeps Shane at a distance with some well timed jabs. Shane unleashes a flurry of punches on Jodoin. The round comes to an end.
