Round 1
Evans lands a solid kick to the front leg of Masayoshi Masuno. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Evans lands a knee to the chest of Masayoshi Masuno, putting them both off balance and to the floor. Masayoshi Masuno backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Menace" connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Shane Evans is dazed on the mat. "The Menace" dances around Shanes legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Shane circles "The Menace", mixing jabs and leg kicks. "The Menace" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Shane Evans. Masayoshi begins a combination but Evans ducks down, picking "The Menaces" leg. Evans lifts "The Menaces" leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Shane Evans lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "The Menace". A left high kick from "The Menace" keeps Shane at bay. The fighters circle each other. Masuno circles Evans, landing jabs and crosses at will. "Sugar" keeps "The Menace" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Masuno lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. The round comes to an end.
