Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Sean Reed lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. A strong elbow forces "The Soviet Superstar" to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Sean drops a huge strike to Markovs chin, landing into his guard. Markov Petrov dodges some ground strikes from Reed, and sends a few back of his own. Petrov is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Sean. "Stone Cold" tries to pass guard but Petrov stops him with a well timed punch. "Stone Cold" attempts to pass Petrovs guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Stone Cold" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Markov catches a leg kick from Reed, and puts him on the mat. Sean Reed attempts an armbar. "The Soviet Superstar" time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into "Stone Colds" guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by "The Soviet Superstar" and he traps Reeds extended leg to move to half guard. Petrov tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Markov slips out of half guard and into side control. "Stone Cold" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "Stone Cold" starts to wiggle out of back control, Markov lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Petrov arm drags Reed into a double leg takedown, getting half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Stone Cold" circles Petrov, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Markov Petrov catches a leg kick from Reed, and puts him on the mat. "Stone Cold" is pummeled by some well timed bombs from "The Soviet Superstar". An heel strike attempt is dodged by Markov and he traps Reeds extended leg to move to half guard. Reed hits an upward elbow on Markov Petrov, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Markov Petrov takes side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
