Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Aguilar narrowly dodges a cross from "The Rock", but falls catching him in his guard. Aaron Johnson tries to pass guard but Aguilar stops him with a well timed punch. "The Rock" presses the action while in the guard, but Chelo is able to switch him into mount. Chelo throws some outside strikes at "The Rock". Aguilar secures his position. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Aaron Johnson attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Chelo Aguilars strikes. Aaron recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. "The Rock" is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. Aaron is staggered by a jab to the chin. Chelo connects with a right that puts "The Rock" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Chelo towers over him. Chelo lays into Aarons thighs with some well timed kicks while Aaron Johnson is grounded. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Aaron Johnson throws a cross that easily dodged by Chelo Aguilar. A shot catches Aaron Johnson off balance and off guard. Aguilar spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Aaron lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Johnson gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Aguilar slams his knee into Johnsons ribs. Johnson tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Chelo slams his knee into Aaron Johnsons ribs. The round comes to an end.
