Round 1 Nicolas Vargas catches a leg kick from Mike, and puts him on the mat. Mike gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Vargas slams his knee into Hamiltons ribs. Nicolas Vargas slips out of half guard and into side control. Hamilton takes a few knees to the body while under Nicolas Vargass side control. Mike Hamilton tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. Mike Hamilton tries to scramble out of half guard, but Nicolas Vargas takes his back during it. Hamilton carefully protects himself from Nicolas Vargass strikes. Nicolas Vargas lands a series of heavy punches forcing Hamilton to roll to his back, giving Nicolas Vargas mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Nicolas executes a single leg giving him the back of Mike. Mike carefully protects himself from Vargass strikes. Mike Hamilton starts to wiggle out of back control, Nicolas lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Nicolas locks around the waist of Hamilton. He sneaks his foot behind Mikes and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Vargas slides his knee across the body of "The Marine" and takes full mount. Nicolas Vargas maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Hamilton gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Nicolas lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. The fighters circle each other. "The Marine" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Vargas. Hamilton attempts a lazy shot, which Nicolas Vargas sprawls, eventually taking Hamilton back. Nicolas Vargas peppers Hamilton with several shots to the face. Hamilton attempts to stand up, but Nicolas throws his leg over, setting an armbar. Hamilton taps out.
