Round 1 Markov Petrov parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Miguel Pereira lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Markov Petrov. "The Soviet Superstar" is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Miguel Pereira prepares to pounce, but "The Soviet Superstar" gets his bearings just in time. Pereira lays into "The Soviet Superstars" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Markov does so. Markov begins a combination but Miguel Pereira ducks down, picking Markov Petrovs leg. Miguel Pereira lifts Markov Petrovs leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Pereira kicks at the thighs of Markov. "Legendary" lays into Markov Petrovs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Markov Petrov does so. "The Soviet Superstar" is staggered by a jab to the chin. After dodging a jab, Miguel Pereira lands a kick to the ribs of Markov who winces in pain. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Markov Petrov connects with a series of punches forcing Miguel Pereira into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Markov escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Miguel Pereira strikes with a straight front kick. Markov moves in to press the action, but Pereira lands a heavy back kick. "The Soviet Superstar" circles "Legendary", landing jabs and crosses at will. "The Soviet Superstar" lands a hook and immediately shoots in, lifts Miguel Pereira up and dumps him over his shoulder in a powerful display. "The Soviet Superstar" turns quickly to capitalize but Miguel Pereira is quick to turn to his back while he recomposes. Petrov drops a huge strike to "Legendarys" chin, landing into his guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Miguel Pereira lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Markov Petrov. Miguel Pereira then switch kicks Markov Petrov on the opposing rib. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Pereira is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Miguel Pereira receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Markov Petrov. Miguel grabs the plum and pulls "The Soviet Superstars" face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Miguel lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "Legendary" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Petrov. "The Soviet Superstar" lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Miguel Pereira. Markov Petrov is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Miguel presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Markov Petrov survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. The round comes to an end.
