Round 1 Buster James throws a cross that easily dodged by Daiki Kawakami. "Number 3" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Daiki. James stomps the feet of "DBA Pillow Hands". An attempt at a clinch takedown from Daiki Kawakami is defended well by Buster James. Daiki Kawakami grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Daiki Kawakami returns to the clinch. James grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Daiki. Daiki grabs for a clinch but James grazes him with an uppercut. Daiki staggers back, then surprises James with a powerful superman punch. Daiki Kawakami lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. After dodging a jab-cross, James lands a kick to the liver of Daiki Kawakami who steps back and begins to take a knee. James rushes forward to capitalize but Daiki Kawakami stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Kawakami eats a stiff kick to the face. "Number 3" dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Kawakami. "DBA Pillow Hands" parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Kawakami lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by James. James lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Buster James takes a punch and goes to the mat, Daiki Kawakami pounces into side control. Buster James recovers quickly. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Daiki weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. "Number 3" connects with a series of punches forcing Kawakami into a clinch. Buster James connects with a stiff knee to the chin. "DBA Pillow Hands" is dazed on the mat. James lays into Kawakamis thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "DBA Pillow Hands" does so. Daiki lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by James. James connects with a series of punches forcing Kawakami into a clinch. Buster gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. "Number 3" directs the head of Daiki leading to a stiff knee to the face. The bell signals the end of round 3.
