Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kikugawa receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Anacleto Ortega. Ortega escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "King of Chaos" is struck by a ball kick from Anacleto Ortega that causes him to stumble backwards. Anacleto connects with a strong right hook. Anacleto lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. After dodging a jab, Anacleto Ortega lands a kick to the liver of Kikugawa who steps back only to take a knee. Anacleto Ortega rushes forward to capitalize but Kikugawa falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Ortega drops a huge strike to Kikugawas chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Kikugawa connects with a right that puts Anacleto off balance tumbling to the mat, as Kikugawa towers over him. Kikugawa attempts to drop a fist on Ortega, but misses and lands in his guard. While caught in the guard, Mitsuru Kikugawa opens up a cut on Anacleto with a devestating elbow. Kikugawa passes through Anacletos guard into mount. "King of Chaos" secures his position. Anacleto Ortega gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "King of Chaos" attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Anacleto rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. "King of Chaos" telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Anacleto gives up his back to stop the attempt. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ortega slips a cross from Mitsuru and lands an uppercut to the liver. After dodging a jab-cross, Ortega lands a kick to the liver of Mitsuru Kikugawa who steps back and begins to take a knee. Ortega rushes forward to capitalize but Mitsuru Kikugawa stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Kikugawa is staggered by a jab to the chin. Mitsuru circles Ortega, mixing jabs with body shots. Anacleto parries Kikugawas jab and connect with a cross. Kikugawa gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back.Round 3 comes to a close.
