Round 1 Naldi swaying back and forth with Balanco swings and pushes a Pisao kick to the head of Frye backing him away. Cyril swaying back and forth with Balanco swings and fakes a Pisao kick but instead attacks low with a Chapa Baixa kick to the knee of Cody. Cody Frye winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Cyril Naldi hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Cody. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After dodging a jab-cross, Cody lands a kick to the liver of Cyril who steps back and begins to take a knee. Cody rushes forward to capitalize but Cyril stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Cyril Naldi throws a hard jab but Cody Frye throws a cross right over the top rocking Cyril Naldi. A running flurry from Cyril Naldi is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Frye. Frye follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. Cody blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Cyril Naldi tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Frye parries Cyrils jab and lands a hook. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Cyril Naldi lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Cody eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Naldi. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Naldi throws a hard jab but Cody throws a cross right over the top rocking Naldi. Frye pressures his opponent into clinching. Naldi drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Cody Frye sets a guillotine choke but Naldi slips out at the last moment. Naldi is now caught in guard. Frye attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Naldi lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Cody Frye tries to hyperextend the knee of Cyril with a kick to the kneecap. Cyril hops back to avoid it. Cyril parries Fryes jab and connect with a cross.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Cody Frye throws a hard jab but Cyril Naldi throws a cross right over the top rocking Cody Frye. Frye connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Naldi who falls to the ground. Frye waves him back to his feet. Naldi turns to the side and bounces up and down in anticipation. Cody does a good job to circle away from Cyril but becomes too predictable and Cyril lands a switch kick to Fryes ribs. Cyril attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Cody takes advantage of the moment taking side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
