Round 1 After dodging a jab, "Rawbone" lands a kick to the ribs of "The One" who winces in pain. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ebisawa drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Paul sets a guillotine choke but Ebisawa slips out at the last moment. Ebisawa is now caught in guard. Paul Jones attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Kenji Ebisawa attempts a striking combination, but Jones forces the clinch. Paul Jones grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Ebisawa on the floor. Paul Jones stands over Kenji Ebisawa, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Kenji Ebisawa is able to grab an arm and pull Paul Jones into his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Paul dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Ebisawa. Jones lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Paul is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Ebisawa is able to push to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Paul Jones circles Ebisawa, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Kenji presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling "Rawbone" to the mat. Kenji stands back and waves "Rawbone" up. A wild hook from Paul Jones is ducked by Kenji who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Paul Jones is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Jones eats a stiff kick to the face. Paul Jones attempts a striking combination, but Kenji forces the clinch. "Rawbone" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ebisawa sets a guillotine choke but "Rawbone" slips out at the last moment. "Rawbone" is now caught in guard. Kenji backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "The One" connects with a series of punches forcing Jones into a clinch. Ebisawa connects with a stiff knee to the chin. "Rawbone" is dazed on the mat. Kenji kicks at the thighs of Paul. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 "The One" is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Kenji is staggered by a jab to the chin. "The One" parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Kenji attempts a striking combination, but "Rawbone" forces the clinch. Kenji lands a powerful knee to the face of Paul. Jones grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Kenji Ebisawa on the floor. Kenji Ebisawa thrusts his leg into Joness knee while grounded. Round 5 is over.
