Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Yves receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Markov. White attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Markov Petrov pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "The Soviet Superstar" snaps back the head of Yves White with a stiff jab. Markov connects with a strong right hook. Yves White lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Markov Petrov. Yves White then switch kicks Markov Petrov on the opposing rib. Markov Petrov catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Yves White. Markov Petrov throws a short kick to the downed Yves. Yves takes the chance to rise back to his feet.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. While tied up, Yves is met with a hard uppercut. Yves is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. "The Soviet Superstar" drops a huge strike to Yvess chin, landing into his guard. Markov takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Whites guard. It doesn't pay off as White makes his way to standing. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Yves, but Petrov is able to muscle through for a takedown. Yves White attempts an armbar. "The Soviet Superstar" time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Yves Whites guard. Yves is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Markov. Yves struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Markov is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Markov Petrov stuffs a shot from Yves White and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Petrov attempts to pass Yvess guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Yves gives his back up trying to escape the mount. White slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. "The Soviet Superstar" feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping White. "The Soviet Superstar" dives into guard. Markov distracts White with peppering shots. Markov then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. White is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Yves gives his back up trying to escape the mount. White carefully protects himself from "The Soviet Superstars" strikes. Giving up his back, Yves panics and gives up mount instead. Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
Markov Petrov locks around the waist of White. He sneaks his foot behind Yvess and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Markov Petrov slides his knee across the body of White and takes full mount. Yves White attempts to escape mount but has no luck. White gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Yves White carefully protects himself from Markovs strikes. Petrov lands a series of heavy punches forcing White to roll to his back, giving Petrov mount. Round 4 is over.

Round 5
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. White receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Markov. Yves attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "The Soviet Superstar" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Yves White misses with an axe kick that has Markov back up. Yves White lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Markov Petrov. White misses with an axe kick that has Markov back up. "The Soviet Superstar" is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Yves explodes forward with a push kick that puts "The Soviet Superstar" on the canvas. Yves kicks at the legs of Markov Petrov and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Markov Petrov to stand. Round 5 is over.
