Round 1 Lasar Scorza plows through Roberts with a driving double leg takedown. Roberts connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. "Man in the Box" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Scorza circles Mark, landing jabs at will. Mark Roberts throws a cross that easily dodged by Lasar. Mark attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Scorza takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Lasar Scorza drops some hammer fists on Roberts. Scorza lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Roberts is staggered by a jab to the chin. Scorza circles Roberts, mixing jabs and leg kicks. After dodging a jab, Mark Roberts lands a kick to the liver of Lasar who steps back only to take a knee. Mark Roberts rushes forward to capitalize but Lasar falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. "Man in the Box" lays into Lasar Scorzas thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Scorza does so. Scorza begins a combination but Mark Roberts ducks down, picking Lasars leg. Mark Roberts lifts Lasars leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. A solid kick bruises the leg of Lasar. "Man in the Box" lays into Scorzas thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Lasar does so. Lasar Scorza circles Mark, landing jabs at will. Scorza is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Roberts is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. While caught in the guard, Lasar Scorza opens up a cut on "Man in the Box" with a devestating elbow. Mark Roberts attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "Man in the Box" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. The fighters circle each other. Lasar wraps around Robertss waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Lasar attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Roberts for his troubles. Lasar Scorza lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 3 is finished.
