Walter Kelly

If you grew up on the east coast, and paid even the slightest attention to sports at the High School/College level, then you've definitely heard the name Walter "Ground N Pound" Kelly. An accomplished wrestler, with an impressive pedigree. Kelly won multiple championships in high school, and was an NCAA Division 1 Champion at Penn State. Though he was offered a spot in the 2500 Summer Olympics, he passed on the opportunity in order to pursue MMA.

Walter might be the most impressive competitor in our event in terms of pure graps. He is an expert at smothering his opponents. He's been cursed with the dreaded stigma of "pillow hands", but he also has a granite chin. He had never been finished until very recently when he took on UNO champion Kyle Rollins. A beastly striker with twice the experience.

Though some have speculated that Kelley has a past as a luchadore, this is untrue. Kelley has never had anything to do with Lucha Libre siting Sports Entertainment style wrestling as "Gay". The truth is that he has an EXTREMELY VULGAR tattoo across his face, and is required to wear the mask as part of various MMA media contracts.... You don't want to know what it says.
